Dr. Jason is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Zayed University

Dr. Jason is from Buffalo, New York (USA). He has experience teaching mathematics at the elementary, middle grades, and secondary levels in Orlando, Florida (USA). After completing his doctorate, he was a faculty member at Middle Tennessee State University (USA) (where he was promoted to Associate Professor and tenured). Dr. Jason is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Zayed University – Dubai since Fall 2011.

Using Technology to teach Statistics and Probability Concepts to Middle/Secondary School Students

Technology can provide students with new ways to think about and discuss important mathematical concepts. In this workshop, we will explore how technology can support active learning. Various technologies will be explored, focus will be on the teaching of statistics and probability concepts to Middle/ Secondary school students.
